Acne is a condition on your skin that causes pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and cysts to form on your face. “Zits” is the common term for acne.

Before you look for an effective cystic acne treatment you should realize that Cystic acne usually occurs if your pores are clogged.

Pores are like a gap to your follicle and each follicle contains hair and also a gland that produces oil. The oil produced will aid in lubricating the skin and eradicate all the dead skin cells. When these oil glands produce too much oil your pores become blocked.

Dirt, debris and bacteria will develop on these pores and slowly inflammation takes in. The plug could be in two colors which is black or white. A black comedone is often termed as blackheads and white comedones are whiteheads. Painful cysts is the aftermath if your irritation on your pores are severe and is lodged deep inside.

The irritation in cystic acne is not because of bacterial invasion on the skin but the result of clogged pores. This phenomenon usually happens during teenage years but this tends to even happen at any age especially in infancy as well.

Research shows that three out of four teenagers have different severity of acne on their face or their body. This is because of hormonal changes that causes their oil glands to produce too much oil on their face and skin. Your genes can also be the primary cause why cystic acne occurs. This tends to run on your family and could be triggered by certain factors like pregnancy, menstruation, pills and stress.

You may have sensitive skin against oily cosmetics or a certain drug that you are currently taking. Certain belief that nuts, greasy foods, chocolate can cause acne but based on some research this isn’t really true. But there’s somewhat a relationship between acne and high sugar diet.

There are things that you can do to avoid and treat acne. Clean your face and the skin with mild soap like Cetaphil, Neutrogena. Wash your face twice each day and every after exercise and by no means try to scrub your face to get rid of all dirt and makeup.

By no means squeeze your pimples, let the experts do this. Never try to scratch or even rub them off either.

Though this could be tempting to do, this will lead to infections and possible scarring. Never touch your face with your hands for this could introduce bacteria and other debris that could plug your pores. www.cysticacnetreatment.biz
